It is with great sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of Aiden Francis McHugh at the Health Science Centre on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, at the age of 70, surrounded by the love of his family.

Aiden was welcomed into heaven by his mom and dad (Mary and Cliff), grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, especially Derek and David Croke, best friend and buddy Joey Corbett whom he spoke about everyday and dearly missed.  Also, his fur friend Daisy.

Left with fond and loving memories his sisters and brothers: Virginia, Marilyn, Gerard, Connie (Darrell Linthorne), Edward (Joanna), Patricia (Ward Snow), and Karen (Rodney Penney); nephews: Cliff, Blake (Julianna), Jack and niece Maggie whom he thought the world of, he was so proud of you all; his uncle Frank, his aunt Helen, and also, his second family Marie Cole and family.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of the Snows Church, Marysvale, Friday, August 21st, 2026, at 2:00pm.

Inurnment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Brigus.

Donations can be made to the Carbonear Dialysis Unit in Aiden's Memory.

Aiden will be forever loved, deeply missed and always remembered by your loving family.
