DALTON, Aloysius (Wish) - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wish Dalton announce his sudden passing on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the age of 71 years.
Predeceased by his son Lee; parents: Charles and Helen Dalton; brothers: Raymond and Bill; infant sisters: Francis and Diane; sister-in-law Mary Dalton; and nephew Chad Rotchford.
Wish leaves to mourn with heavy hearts his son Cory (Eva); his one and only granddaughter Seirra; his brothers: Gene (Elizabeth), Paul (Gerry), Bob (Betty), Brian (Lorraine), Max (Dana), and Darren (Elizabeth); his sisters: Rose (Nick), Laura (Darrel), Celeste, and Michelle (Roger); sister-in-law Rita; and the daughter he never had Mary Ann. Also, leaving to mourn his nieces, nephews, and a large circle of family and friends, especially Jerry, Joe, Adam, Darren, Tom, Roger, and Gary.
Wish loved the outdoors, especially cutting his wood, Saturday Night Drives, listening to the Cabin Party, and sitting on his front step all summer long. Wish's one true love in life was his horses, especially around Christmas Time when he dressed up as Santa delivering gifts to the little children in Conception Harbour on his horse and sleigh. His door was always open and everyone was welcomed. His big smile will be missed by many.
Wish was a member of Iron Workers 721 Toronto and had fond memories of his sisters and brothers.

A Celebration of Wish's Life will take place at a later date.
