LEWIS, Anne Marie- Passed away suddenly at St. Luke's Mercy Home, Anne Marie Lewis of Colliers, age 89 years.

Anne will be forever loved by her remaining siblings: Alice (Lewis) Phillips, Elizabeth ( Lewis) Peddle, Charlie Lewis, and Joe Lewis.

Predeceased by her parents John and Nora (Ghaney) Lewis; life-time partner Frank O'Leary; siblings: John, Jim, Tom, Mick, Fred, Sam, Ben and Mary Lewis. She will also be sorely missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Anne enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved to listen to music and watch sports on TV. She especially liked horse racing and the Montreal Canadians. She spent many Saturdays watching Hockey Night in Canada while enjoying a few beers. She further loved attending many garden parties and dances in Colliers and area, especially with her sisters Alice and Mary, when Mary came home from the USA for vacation.

We would like to extend thanks to the staff at St. Luke's Nursing Home and St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, whose compassion and care made Anne's life journey all the better.

Visitation will be held at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, on Monday September 11th from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Church, Colliers on Monday September 11th at 2pm.

Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers.

A celebration of Anne's life will take place following the Liturgy and Interment at the Colliers Recreation Complex.  A food donation for the celebration of life would be greatly appreciated.
