DALTON, Arthur Joseph - Passed peacefully away surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, December 13th, 2014, at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, Arthur Joseph Dalton of Harbour Main - Age 79 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Helen; his children: Cathy (Michael), Dale (Sharon), Della (David), Artie (Nancy), Alexis (Robin); his step-children: Gerry (Darlene), Lisa (Tony), Christa (Shawn), and Joey (Nadine). Also, leaving to mourn his brother Gordon and sister Louise; brother-in-laws: Joe (Dorothy), Len (Diane), and Charlie (Patsy); sister-in-law Marge; special friends Frankie and Norma; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. At Arthur's request cremation has taken place. Resting at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Tuesday, December 16th from 2pm-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 17th, 2014, at 10:30am from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Conception Harbour. Interment to follow in St. Anne's Cemetery, Conception Harbour. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arthur's memory can be made to the Leonard A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit.
