Passed peacefully away in the presence of her very special friend and companion Ben, and her daughters Bernice and Monica at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, January 23, 2014, Beatrice Cole - Age 85 years. Predeceased by her husband Charles Cole (2005); parents Michael and Bridget Costigan; sister Mary Dalton; brother Samuel Costigan; son-in-laws Rubert Cahill and Wayne Spracklin. Leaving to mourn her very special friend, companion and caregiver Ben Phillips; daughters: Shirley Smith (Ron), Ann Ghaney (Kevin), Theresa Hickey (Basil), Monica Spracklin, Bernice Suchwold (Dennis); sons: John (Jackie), Mike (Mavis), Charles (Marina), Bill (Catherine), Gerry (Mary), Wayne (Apple) and Gordon (Peg); sister Martha Constanine; brother Tommy Costigan; 29 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grand-daughters, nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Resting at Conway's Funeral Home, Conception Harbour, Conception Bay Highway with visitation on Saturday, January 25 from 12pm-9pm and Sunday, January 26 from 12pm-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 10:30am from Immaculate Conception Church, Colliers. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers.
