WADE, Christopher - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Wade on Saturday, August 20th, 2022, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, surrounded by his loving family - Age 89 years.

Predeceased by his Parents: Christopher and Ellen Wade (nee Flynn); Parents-In-Law: Michael and Rachel Frances Rotchford (nee Murphy); Infant Son David Christopher Wade; Sisters: Anna Campbell, Josephine Katz, Agatha Doyle (Patrick deceased), and Jean Wade; Brothers: Patrick (Betty - nee Costello deceased), Robert, Ned, Bill, Jack (Betty - nee Whelan deceased), and Andy; Brothers-In-Law: Martin Rotchford, and Robert Power; Nephews: Chad Rotchford, and Robert Power Jr.

Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are his loving and devoted wife of 60 years Barbara (nee Rotchford); his precious children: Yvonne Wade (Cyril Moriarity), Juanita Wade (Stephen Hayes), and Linda Ryan; Grandchildren: Christopher Wade (Julia Mason), and Taylor Hayes; Great-Grandchildren: Everly Wade, and Baby Boy to be born in October; Sisters-In-Law: Rita Dalton (Bill), Linda Power (Robert deceased), Olivera Rotchford (Mike), Patricia Rotchford (Martin deceased), and Carol Ann Rotchford; Brother-In-Law Nicholas Rotchford (Ann Rose).  Also, his beautiful Nieces, Nephews, and so many special Friends and Family.

Chris loved life and having people by meant everything to him.  He especially loved spending time with his Children, Grandchildren, and Great-Granddaughter Everly who called him POP! POP!

The Family would like to express sincere thanks to the Doctors and Nurses in the ICU at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital for their kindness and support during Chris' illness.

Visitation will be held at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, on Tuesday, August 23rd from 2:00pm - 9:00pm, and Wednesday, August 24th from 10:00am - 9:00pm.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 25th, at 10:30am at St. Anne's Church, Conception Harbour.

Interment to follow in St. Anne's R. C. Cemetery, Conception Harbour.
