Daniel O'Brien passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on March 15, 2025, Mr. Daniel O'Brien of North River, aged 83 years. Predeceased by parents Tobias and Annie O'Brien, step mother Nora O'Brien, brothers Thomas O'Brien and Michael Mullowney, sisters, Helen Bennett (Peter), Marie Densmore (Dalton), and Eleanor Dawe (Howard).

Leaving to mourn sisters: Alice Coady (Tony deceased), Rose Mullowney, Anne Lawrence (Michael), Margaret Cole (Greg), Faustina Cummings (James deceased), Patricia Walsh (Michael deceased), Barbara Bowering (Dave), and Ida Reha. Sisters-in-law Joanne O'Brien and Marjorie O'Brien.
Brothers: Tony O'Brien, Emmanuel Jones (Tina), Maurice Jones, Tony Fleming (Bonnie), Jim Jones (Denise) and Kevin Slade (Anna).

Also left to mourn many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00PM. Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 10:00AM - 12:00AM, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to All Hallows Parish, North River.

Funeral on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM from All Hallows Church, North River. Interment to follow at All Hallows Cemetery.
