Whelan, Derrick Ambrose - Passed peacefully away at home on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the age of 61.

Derrick is predeceased by his parents: William and Geraldine Whelan; father-in-law Edward William Stephen Payne; brothers: Ted, and Bill; niece Gaylene; nephew TJ; sister-in-law Bev (Igg); brothers-in-law: Tommy Brown (Jackie Brown), and Gordon McDonald (Laura).

Leaving to mourn his wife Margo of 34 years; son Derrick Jr (Kristine); daughters: Candace, and Sherry-lynn; grandson Logan; granddaughters: Londyn-Lynn Marie Payne, and Monroe May Marie Payne; mother-in-law Beulah Payne; brother-in-law Cory Payne; sister-in-law Jackie Brown; God children: Natasha Whelan, Daniel Whelan, Brett Derrick Stephen Arsenault; brothers: Igg, Tony (Sharon), Shaun (Sandy), Dwayne,and Rodney; sisters: Laura (Gordon deceased), Tammy (George Gear), and Tonia; sister-in-law Patsy Whelan; neices, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family and freinds.

At Derrick's request cremation has taken place.

A special thank you going out to my In-law family in Ontario, to my Aunt Marg Cole and family for all their help and support, as well a very large circle of friends. RUM BUCKERIDE
