GUSHUE, Florence - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25th, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, Florence Gushue (nee Barnes) of Conception Harbour - Age 76 years.

She was predeceased by her son Anthony; parents: William and Genevieve Barnes; Parents-in-law: John and Anne Gushue (nee McGrath); brother John; sisters: Shirley, Sharon, and Doreen.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 56 years George; children: Robert (Hazel), Paul, Sean (Shirley), Anita, Tina (Joe), and Dana (Shannon); grandchildren: Devin (Larissa), Leila (Travis), Nathan (Kaitlin), Anthony, Cameron, Cassandra, Allanah, and Rjay; great-grandchildren: Brandon, Faith, and Jamie Lynn; sibling: Mary (Arch), Vicky (Dave), Frank (Rita), and Clarence (Shirley).  As well as a large number of nieces, nephews, friends, and former son-in-law John Gushue.

Visitation will take place at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, on Sunday, September 4th, from 10:00am - 9:00pm.

Requesting that a mask be worn during the Visitation and Funeral Service

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Anne's Church, Conception Harbour, on Monday, September 5th, 2022, at 11:00am.

Inurnment will take place on Saturday, September 17th, 2022, at 11:30am, St. Anne's Cemetery, Conception Harbour .
