KENNEDY, George Leo - Passed peacefully away after a short battle with illness, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 27th, 2019, at the age of 69 years.

Predeceased by his wife of 24 years, Paula (2009); father John; sister Phyllis; and mother and father-in-law: George and Margaret Cole.

Left to mourn with fond memories are his children: John, and Ashley (Michael); mother Beverly; and special friend Linda Conway; brothers: Gary (Karen), Darren (Rose), and Bob (Charlotte); sisters: Dorothy, and Jo-Ann (Sam Perri).

George will also be remembered by his brothers and sisters in Local 764 and Local 203.

Special thanks to the nursing staff at the Health Science Centre on 4 South, for their continuous compassion and care.

Resting at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Monday, September 30th, from 12:00pm-9:00pm.

Funeral Mass will take place from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Conception Harbour, on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019, at 11:00am, with cremation to follow.

Inurnment will take place in St. Anne's Cemetery in the Family Plot at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory can be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
