CANTWELL, Gerald George - It is with a broken heart I announce the sudden passing of my beloved father.  Gerald passed away peacefully at the Health Science Centre on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020.

Predeceased by his mother Irene Cantwell (nee Quinlan), father Patrick Cantwell, brother Kevin Cantwell, his devoted wife of 32 years Doreen Cantwell (nee Myers), father-in-law Joseph Myers, mother-in-law Ann Myers (nee Corbett), sister-in-law Patsy Mauger (nee Myers), and his cherished sister and best friend Anna Mae Myers; special extended family members: Anne Nolan, Tom Nolan, Catherine Kelly, and his uncle Leo Quinlan.

Left to mourn are his daughter Deanne, special nephew Kevin Myers and family, his good friends and cousins Genevieve Lewis and Judy Costello.  Also, his chosen family Art and Cathy Grace, Valerie Flaherty, Rhonda O'Leary, Joey Flaherty, and Joanne McCarthy.  Also, many other friends, colleagues, members of the Knights of Columbus, and The Avondale Parish Council.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place from Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Avondale, on Saturday, October 17th, 2020, at 2:00pm, for family and close friends due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Inurnment to follow in Assumption Cemetery, Avondale, in the Family Plot.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerald's memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Heavenly Creatures.
