McGRATH, Geraldine - It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Geraldine McGrath (Rotchford).  Geraldine passed peacefully away, surrounded by family, at the age of 87.

Predeceased by her parents: Martin and Rose (Kane).  Brothers: Nicholas, Tom, and Johnny.  Sisters: Betty Morrissey and Marie Dalton.  And beloved daughter: Michelle.

Leaving to mourn is her husband Ron of more than 60 years; Daughters: Valerie (Stephen), and Rhonda (Terry).  Her sisters and lifelong friends: Madeline Poole and Rosaleen Guy.  Cherished brother: Doug Rotchford.  Her grandchildren, whom she cherished above all else, Kate, Alex, and Renee.  Numerous nieces and nephews in the Rotchford, Poole, Guy, Dalton, Morrissey, and Costello families.  Countless cousins and in-laws, as well as an extensive circle of friends.

Geraldine was loved by all that knew her.  She had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humour.  She was hardworking, proud, generous and loyal.  Geraldine always had a clean house and loved a game of cards.

A special thank you, on behalf of the family, goes out to Dianne Kennedy for all your love and continued support.  And to the extraordinary nurses in the ICU at Carbonear General Hospital.

At Geraldine's request cremation has taken place.

Visitation will take place at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, on Friday, July 12th, 2024, from 11:00am - 2:00pm.

Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Church, Colliers, at 3:00pm.

Inurnment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers.
