Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Monday, July 22, 2013, Geraldine C. Whelan - Age 79 years. Predeceased by her husband William; son Ted; and grandchildren Gaylene McDonald and T.J. Whelan. Leaving to mourn her 7 sons: Bill (Rose), Ig (Bev), Tony (Sharon), Derrick (Margo), Shaun (Sandy), Duane and Rodney; 3 daughters: Laura (Gordon deceased), Tammy (George) and Tonia (John); and daughter-in-law Patsy; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Conway's Funeral Home, Conception Harbour with visitation on Wednesday, July 24 from 10am-9pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 10:30am from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Conception Harbour with cremation to follow. Inurnment at a later date.
