COSTELLO, Gertrude Mary - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Health Science Centre on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, Gertrude Mary Costello of Conception Harbour - Age 87 years. Predeceased by her husband James P.; son James J.; daughter Josephine; parents: Joseph and Mary; brothers: Bill, Peter, and Ned; sisters: Meg, Mary, Bertha, and Bridget. Leaving to mourn her sons: Francis, Kenneth, Pat, Michael (Jackie), and Joe (Sherri); daughters: Mary (Sam), Annette (Francis), Laura(Pat), and Stella (Mikey); 19 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; son-in-law Greg; nieces and nephews; special friend Sylvie Wade; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Thursday, November 20, from 2pm-9pm and Friday, November 21, from 10am-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 11:00am from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Conception Harbour.
