Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Monday, April 28, 2014, Gilbert Thomas Hillier of Colliers - Age 83 years, (Korean War Veteran 1952-1955).  Predeceased by his wife Nell; parents John and Lucy Hillier; sons: William, Gary and Gilbert Jr.; and brother Roy Hillier.  Left with fond and loving memories his sons: Don (Madonna), Jason (Billie Jo), and Paddy; daughters: Patsy (Henry Jewer), Liz (Garry England), Linda (Rick Phillips), and Jeannette; grandchildren: James, Krista and Serrina Hillier; Riley and Coady Hillier; Gilbert Jr., Vanessa and Miranda Jewer; Christopher, Vicky and Gatlyn England; Ricky and Lindsay Phillips;  and Helen Hillier; 22 great-grandchildren; brothers: Don Hillier (Doris) and family, and Fred Hillier and family; sister Maude (Jim Anstey) and family; sister-in-law Edith (Roy Hillier deceased) and family; nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Resting at Conway's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Conception Harbour with visitation on Saturday, May 3rd from 2pm-9pm and Sunday, May 4th from 2pm-9pm.  Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, May 5th, 2014, at 10:30 am from Immaculate Conception Church , Colliers with cremation to follow.  Inurnment to take place at a later date at the Anglican Cemetery, Lamaline.  Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Gilbert's memory can be made to Daffodil Place.  Please visit www.conwaysfuneralhome.ca to sign the memorial guest book or send a message of condolence.
