WILLIAMS (Nee WHELAN), Helen - Passed away peacefully at Agnes Pratt surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 16th, 2022. Predeceased by husband John in August 2020, parents James and Margaret Whelan, and members of the Whelan and Williams families.
Leaving to mourn with broken hearts are children John (Patti Ann), Margie (Dave), James (Carolyn), Craig (Cleo), and Gary; precious grandchildren Mitchell, Hayley, Hannah, Julie, Lukas, Creighton, and Maxim; siblings Georgina (Bill), Bill (Hilda), John (Carol), Jim (Kay), Tim (Anita) and brother-in-law Kenneth (Anne); nieces and nephews, the extended Gushue family, and special friends Marie and Kenneth Simms and Toni-Marie Mason.
A heartfelt thank you and appreciation to all the staff at the Stella Burry Unit at the Agnes Pratt Home for the kindness and compassion you have shown to mom and our family over the last year.
Helen was a kind, gentle, beautiful woman of great faith who enjoyed the simple things in life. Her greatest joy was spending precious time with her children and grandchildren whom she adored immensely. Growing up in a musical family, she cherished Sunday dinners with a few songs and a dance.
Resting at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Tuesday, October 18th, from 2:00-9:00 pm and Wednesday, October 19th, from 2:00-9:00 pm.
Funeral service will be held at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Conception Harbour, on Thursday, October 20th, 2022, at 11:00am.
Interment to follow in St. Anne's Cemetery, Conception Harbour.
