GRIFFIN, James Joseph - Passed away peacefully in the presence of his family at home in Colliers, Tuesday, December 10, 2024, James Joseph Griffin - Age 88 years.

Predeceased by his parents: James and Mary; son Glenn; brother John; mother-in-law Rita McCarthy; brothers-in-law Jerry McCarthy, and Leonard Abbott; sisters: Elizabeth Griffin, and Bride McDonald (John).

Fondly remembered by his wife Anna; son Garry; daughter Peggy-Ann; brothers: Mike (Catherine), and Pete (Catherine); brothers-in-law: Tom (Lorraine) McCarthy, Mark McCarthy, Felix (Anne) McCarthy, Ed (Betty Ann) McCarthy, and Lar (Valerie Hannaford) McCarthy; sisters-in-law: Shirley McCarthy, Marcella (Ron) Dalton, Bernice (John) Leonard, Shirley (Eugene) Abbott, and Rita Abbott.  Also, nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.

A special thank you to his home care support who did an outstanding job; Roxanne, Gina, Kelty, Paula, Tonya, Gerry, and Ron.

At James' request cremation has taken place.

Visitation will take place at Immaculate Conception Church, Colliers, Monday, December 16th, 12:00pm - 1:00pm.

Funeral Mass will take place from Immaculate Conception Church, Colliers, Monday, December 16th, at 1:00pm.

Reception to follow at the Colliers Recreation Centre.

Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Donations can be offered in memory of James to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
