DESILVA (WALKER), Joan - Passed peacefully away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario, with family at her side on June 23rd, 2016, Joan DeSilva (Walker). Joan was originally from Brigus, NL.

Predeceased by her parents Sarah and Arthur; sister Kathleen; brothers Joseph, Alphonsus, Thomas, and Louis.

Loving mother of Shane and Erica; grand-daughter Kirsten.

Will be sadly missed by her siblings Margaret (Jack), Loretta, Ann, Rose (Kevin), Marie (Adrian), and Gerard.

Will be fondly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

At Joan's request cremation has taken place.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Brigus, on Saturday, November 4th, 2017, at 10:30am. Inurnment to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Brigus.
