MAHONEY, John Michael - Passed away peacefully after a brief illness, in the presence of his loving family at the Health Science Centre on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025.

Predeceased by his parents: James L. and Margaret Mahoney; parents-in-law: Jack W. and Genevieve Curnew; sisters: Laura Parsley and Eileen Farr; brothers-in-law: Bob Hynes, Fred Joy and Harry Farr; and special family friends Augustus and Elizabeth Dalton.

Leaving to mourn his loving wife Barbara; children: Lynette (Albert) Dalton, and Zane (Angela) Mahoney; and most precious grandchildren Kate and Brent Dalton; sisters and brothers: Geraldine Mahoney, Leo (Patricia), Mary Joy, Linda Hynes, Donald (Carol), Bernadette (Fabian) Woodford, Paul (Kris); and brother-in-law Kevin Parlsey.  Also, leaving a large circle of nieces, nephews, and many close family friends (too many to mention).

Resting at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Thursday, November 6th from 6:00pm - 9:00pm.

Funeral Mass will take place from Assumption Church, Avondale, Saturday, November 8th, 2025 at 2:00pm.

Inurnment will take place at a later date.
