MANSFIELD, John - Passed peacefully away John Austin Mansfield in his 86th year of Kitchuses. (June 19 1936 - April 28 2023).

Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Peg), parents: Leo and Catherine Mansfield, sister Margaret Murphy, and brother Leo Mansfield.

Leaving to mourn with wonderful memories son Sean (Bonnie); and grandson Nathan; sisters: Mary Chapman and Rosmary Anthony (Reg deceased); sisters-in-law: Helen Lewis (Gerald deceased), Gerry Dalton (Paul), Annie Dalton (Con deceased), Maureen Haskell (Reg), and Margaret Mansfield.  Also numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to thank Woodford's Comfort Manor in Holyrood for the care that you showed for his short stay.  Also we would like to thank the care workers he had, especially Holly Lewis, Ann Marie Conway, and Sandra Whelan.  The care and attention you gave John was greatly appreciated.

Resting at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Monday, May 1, 10:00am - 9:00pm, and Tuesday, May 2, 10:00am - 1:00pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Assumption Church, Avondale, Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 2:00pm.

Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery, Conception Harbour.
