With heavy Hearts and great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our Wife/Mother/Grandmother/Sister/Sister in law, Lorraine Mary Ezekiel(Costello) in her home on Bacon Cove Road, Conception Harbour on Tuesday February 24, 2026.

Leaving to Mourn with fond and loving memories: her Husband of 49 years Leonard Ezekiel.
Daughters: Rhonda(Jimmy) Edmunds, Tiffany(Gary)Lewis, 5 Grandchildren: Mitchell Edmunds, Emily(Josh Crane)Ezekiel, Julie(Jayden Dyke)Edmunds, Logan Lewis and Sophie Lewis.
Sisters: Patricia Slaney, Leona(Albert)Meaney, Rosemarie(James Taylor)Costello, Edie(Lar)Wade, Sheila(Jimmy)Dalton, Daphne(John)Lewis, Joanne(Tom Shea)Costello, Brother: Jerome(Carmel)Costello.
Sister in Laws: Gerry Walsh, Trina Bell.
Brother in Laws: Angus(Sherry)Ezekiel, Billy Ezekiel, Joseph Murray. A large circle of Nieces/Nephews, Great Nieces/Nephews and Bingo Buddies.

Predeceased: by her Mother and Father, James and Elizabeth Costello, Mother and Father in Law: Jane and Angus Ezekiel, Brothers: Doug And Ignatius Costello, Sister: Bernadette Murray.
Sister in Law: Beverly Ezekiel, Brother in Law: Albert Slaney.

Lorraine was a great Wife, Mother, Grandmother to which she cherished her Family with all her Heart. She Devoted her life to her Work for 31 years at the Waterford Hospital working as a Stenographer in the EEG/OT/ Staff Health dept before Retiring in 2007. Mom loved her game of Bingo and was a regular at Colliers Bingo on Tuesdays and TV Bingo on Wednesdays. She was a gentle Soul gone too soon and will be missed by Many.

Visitation will take place at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, Sunday, March 1st from 10:00am - 9:00pm, and Monday, March 2nd from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Funeral Mass will take place at Assumption Church, Station Road, Avondale, Monday, March 2nd, 2026 at 2:00pm.

Cremation to follow with inurnment at a later date.
