MURPHY, Mary Catherine – Passed peacefully away in the presence of her
family at Carbonear General Hospital, Pallative Care Centre on Thursday,
May 31st, 2012, Mary Catherine Murphy of Conception Harbour – Age 90
years. Predeceased by her husband Maurice P., infant daughters
(especially Shirley); parents: William and Catherine Cole; sisters: Anna
and Bridget; brothers: Thomas and Pete; father-in-law Nicholas and
mother-in-law Johanna Murphy; special grandson Andrew Murphy and special
son-in-law George Edmunds. Leaving to mourn her sons: Maurice Francis
(Eileen), Jerome (Barbara), John (Darlene); daughters: Genevieve Edmunds
and Annie Conway (Patrick); 11 grand-children and 8 great
grand-children, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and
friends. Resting at Conway's Funeral Home, Conception Harbour on
Saturday, June 2nd from 11am-9pm and Sunday, June 3rd from 11am-9pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, June 4th, 2012 at
10:30am from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Conception Harbour.
Interment to follow at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Conception
