Obituary

FEWER, Mazie Ann - Finally reunited with her son Scott.  Mazie Ann Fewer in her 78th year.  Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Health Science Centre on Monday, January 30th, 2023.

Mom was the last of her family, and will be met with open arms by her Parents: Philomenia and Patrick Fewer; her Sisters: Irene and Kit; her Brothers: Martin, Greg, Ned, Gord and Clar; as well as her Nephew Gary Fewer; and Father of her children Larry Lewis as well as many members of the Redmond and Lewis Families.

Left with fond and loving memories to cherish, her Daughters: Kim (Ted Hearn), and Laurie Lee (Kelly Laracy), along with her precious Grandchildren who she worshipped: Lucas, Kelsie, Noah, Hailee, Heidi, Jesse and Lexie; Great-Grandson Josh; and her fur baby Mittens; Sisters-in-law: Ruby, Julianne and Irene Rees (Clayton); Brothers-in-law: John Kennedy and Paddy Lewis (Bon).

Mom was known for many things, but being the best Grandmom was on top of the list.  She loved her darts, music and singing, and her weekly Firemen's Bingo.

Mom will be missed by a large circle of nieces and nephews, and friends; especially Neacy and Rita.  Her homecare support who provided great care and compassion for Mom; Belinda, Jackie, Wanda, Theresa and Martina.

Resting at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Wednesday, February 1st, from 4:00pm - 9:00pm, and Thursday, February 2nd, from 12:00pm - 9:00pm.

Funeral Mass will take place from Assumption Church, Avondale, on Friday, February 3rd, 2023, at 2:00pm.

Cremation to follow.

Inurnment will take place in Assumption Cemetery, Avondale, in the Family Plot at a later date.

Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Mom's Memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland & Labrador.
