McGRATH, Michael Joseph - Passed away at his residence in Colliers on Friday, October 11, 2024, in his 72nd year.

Predeceased by his mother Leonce McGrath and father Michael McGrath; his sister Theresa Power; brother-in-law John Ducey, and cousin Darrin McGrath.

Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 48 years, Elizabeth (Betty); his four daugthers: Charlene, Christa (Stephen), Michelle (Chris), and Ashley (Mark); and one son Joe (Joanne); his pride and joy, his ten grandchildren: Brady, Brookly, Alexander, Aleah, Addison, Ryan, Emerson, Eleni, Conor and Isla; his one brother John (Susan), and his seven sisters: Sheila (Derm), Madonna (Michael), Anne, Anita and Jean (Toni); his brother-in-law George Power; special cousin and close friend Jim McGrath; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Derm and Sheila, and Madonna and Michael for all their support during his time of need.

Thank you to Dr. Harrison Russell Lake for all your care over the years, especially the last few months.  Thank you to the Cancer Care Team, especially Dr. Lester, Dr. Brake, and Dr. Kamran.

Dad will miss a good moose hunting season, trouting at a bog pond and a good game of Scat.

Visitation will take place at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, Monday, October 14th from 2:00pm - 4:00pm, and 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

Funeral Mass will take place from Immaculate Conception Church, Colliers, Tuesday, October 15th, 2024, at 11:00am.

Cremation to follow.

Inurnment will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers, Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre.
