MURPHY, Norman Brendan - Passed peacefully away on Monday, September 5th, at Carbonear General Hospital surrounded by his loving family Norman Brendan Murphy of Conception Harbour - Age 87 years.

Predeceased by his son Corporal Jamie Murphy; parents: Brendan and Agnes Murphy; brother Jack; infant sister Theresa; brothers-in-law: Louis and Edward; nephews: Louis, Andy and Allan Corn; parents-in-law: John and Bertha Skeffington.

Left with fond and loving memories his devoted wife of 62 years Alice; children: Norma (John), Rosemary (Rod), and Johnny (Wendy); grandchildren: Jenessa, Kearsty (William), and Rodney (Jennifer); great-grandchildren: Lennox and Cade; sister Mary, and nephew Paul (Joanne); extended members of the Murphy and Skeffington families.  Also, his favorite animal companion his cat Noel.

Visitation will take place at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, on Wednesday, September 7th and Thursday, September 8th from 2:00pm - 9:00pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Anne's Church, Conception Harbour, on Friday, September 9th, 2022, at 11:00am.

Interment to follow at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Conception Harbour.
