Sean A.
Mansfield
Dec 6, 1967 — Jul 16, 2026
Conception Harbour
Passed peacefully on July 16, 2026 with his wife by his side, Sean Austin Mansfield, underneath the beautiful blue sky.
Sean was a wonderful husband, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. His career path took him to working on the oil tankers sailing along the eastern sea board where he rose to the position of Captain. A position he worked hard for and enjoyed. His work took him to many destinations around the world. Places as far as Jakarta, Colombia and to crossing the Arctic Circle. But his most favorite destination was home with his family where many wonderful memories were made. Sean enjoyed spending time camping, spending time outdoors, going for rides on the side by side with his family and friends where he not only created memories but true friendship. In his later years, he discovered his love for cooking. Many delectables were made and shared with family and friends.
Sean leaves to mourn his wife of 33 years, Bonnie (nee Piercey), and son Nathan. His aunts Helen Lewis, Gerry Dalton (Paul), Maureen Haskel (Reg), Annie Dalton, Rosemary Anthony, Mary Chapman, and Margaret Mansfield. In-laws Dave Piercey(Georgina), Colette Witherall(Frank), Kelly Burton, and Alice Duff. Also nieces and nephews, Kayla Arnold(Matt), Nicole Clarke(Brandon), Megan Piercey(David), Holly Burton(Cody), and Ethan Witherall. Great nephews Maverick, Levi and Weston. Also many cousins, especially Bill and Tonya Dalton. Also, life long friends Leonard and Claudette Walsh. You were there for us, no questions asked.
Predeceased by his parents John and Peg Mansfield, and in-laws Merlin Piercey and Nora Piercey.
