GRIFFIN, Theresa - Theresa passed away in her 56th year in Toronto, on Friday, April 9th, 2021, after a brief illness.

At the time of her passing she was predeceased by her father Kevin Griffin, and infant sister Margaret.

She was survived by her mother Margaret Griffin, and her sibling in Newfoundland and Ontario - Mary Alice (Gerry), John (Valarie), Jennette (Richard), Carole (Frank), and their families.  Left to share in her loss and celebrate her life are her remaining family in Newfoundland - aunts Marie Cole and Jean Cahill; uncle Patrick Griffin, and many cousins and their families.  She is especially missed and remembered by her soul mate and lifelong best friend - her cousin Linda Corbett.

Theresa was raised in Colliers and spent most of her adult life in Toronto where she worked at Canada Post for the last number of years.  Prior to the pandemic, she visited Newfoundland on an annual basis and always considered the province her home.  She was interested and active in her communications with her family in Newfoundland between her visits.  She was fiercely loyal to her precious mother and spent most weekends for the last 5 years visiting her at the Barrie Retirement Home.  She was a truly beautiful and artistic person who shared generously of her time and gifts with those she loved.  Heaven gained another Angel by an earthly life ended too soon.

Cremation has taken place as per Theresa's wishes and inurnment will occur on Saturday, July 9th, at the family plot at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers.
