Timothy Keith Murphy
(December 19, 1962 – June 11, 2025)
Passed away suddenly at his residence in Spaniard's Bay, (Timothy) Keith Murphy of Colliers aged 62.
Predeceased by his parents: Martin and Regina (Cole) Murphy; grandparents: Timothy and Anne (McDonald) Murphy and; Joseph and Eita (Whelan) Cole; and niece: Chasity Noseworthy.
Leaving to mourn brothers: Joe (Debbie), Dan and Don (Janet); sisters: Anne Marie, Tina and Kim (Tom Ryan); nephews: Ryan Murphy, Tyler Murphy, and Shawn Lewis; nieces: Samantha Murphy, Katelyn Murphy, Kelly Lewis, Meah and Danika Murphy; great niece: Avery; great nephew: Landon Murphy. Also, leaving to mourn many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends Ed and Anna Coombs.
Known to be a very intelligent man, his knowledge of any subject was immense and as such was the recipient of many scholarships and awards.
A true sports enthusiast. He took part in golf, tennis, hockey, softball and acquired his umpire certification in softball to participate in that capacity. Not only did he participate but he was an avid fan with Manchester United soccer team being his all time favourite.
He loved anything to do with outdoors: gardening, trouting, fishing, DIYs or just to sit and have a cup of coffee. If the weather didn't cooperate he spent his time reading, listening to music, watching movies and his favourite show, "Big Bang Theory" or playing video games.
Christmas was his favourite time of year and he would spend endless hours hanging lights, decorating, sending cards and buying special, unique gifts for everyone.
He was a very generous man who donated to many charities over the years. Including: Heart and Stroke, Alzheimer's, Red Cross. Cancer Society and Immaculate Conception Parish to name a few.
One wouldn't think if they met him that he was a religious man and dedicated to his faith.
Resting at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Thursday, July 24, 2:00pm - 9:00pm.
Inurment to take place in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers, Friday, July 25, 2025, at 11:00am.
