FOLEY, William (Billy) - Of Colliers, 65 years of age, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019, at the Health Science Centre.

Billy was born September 28, 1953, in Conception Harbour, to the late George and Josephine Foley.  He was the second oldest of twelve children, one, Ken, predeceased him in death.  Also, predeceased by his father and mother-in-law: Michael and Annie Cole; as well as extended family: Theodore, Chris, Mary, Bill, Mary A. Cole, and Baxter Smith.

Billy married Edwina Cole on November 8, 1975, and had three children, Billy leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Cory (Tracey), Michael (Melissa), and Jen (Steve); 4 grandchildren: Madison, Ethan, Mckenna, and Violet.  His 10 sisters: Maize (Gerald), Ann (Junior), Madonna (Ron), Jose (Johnny), Sandra (Clarence), Jean, Cathy (Dave), Debbie (Tony), Brenda (Wayne), and Bobbie (Greg); sisters-in-law: Marion (Wilf), Annie Mae (Paddy), and Daphne; brothers-in-law: Bernard (Mary) and Louis (Frances).  Also, a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Billy celebrated his golden anniversary as a member of the Labourers' International Union of North America (LIUNA) this year.  Between finishing many pours of concrete across the country, Billy enjoyed a scattered step dance and an evening troutin' by the pond!

Visitation will take place at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Tuesday, September 3, 2:00-9:00PM, and Wednesday, September 4, 10:00-9:00PM.

Roman Catholic service at Immaculate Conception Parish, Colliers, to take place at 11:00AM, on Thursday, September 5, 2019, with cremation to follow.
